About Dr. Peil
In addition to practicing at Illinois Lung Institute since 1993, Dr. Michael Peil is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). Of special interest to Dr. Peil is the field of medical ethics. That interest takes him to Mongolia on occasion to teach on the subject as well as educate students about pulmonary disease at the Medical University in the capitol city of Ulaan Bataar.
Dr. Peil and his wife, Claudia, have five children, and have recently hosted a Korean foreign exchange student.
